You can rent Moozone Storage now if you want.
Some of you might not be willing to commit to buy Moozone Storage, even though it is a cheap, attractive business model. Well, we’re happy to inform that from now on you will be able to rent storage and pay a monthly rental fee. It’s very easy to setup and cancel if you don’t want the storage anymore.
You can buy or rent any amount of storage (from 1GB to 100GB), it’s up to you. Apparently the more you buy or rent the cheaper it gets per gigabyte. Click on the link to check out the prices.

Moozone Android App Is Out
Finally our Android app is out. It’s designed for our storage users and has a number of cool features:
- Streaming - stream your music with our optimized, reliable streaming engine, that uses file buffering (as opposed to memory buffering).
- Save Box - download your music to play it when you’re offline (in the areas of low or no reception)
- Upload your mp3 files directly from your phone via 3G or WiFi (even though 3G might be a little slow for that).
- Playlists - build your own playlists
- and of course your get 2GB of free storage
- got music on DropBox - plug it in and be able to build playlists and play them on the android app.
For those who are still running Android 1.5. Here’s the version you can install manually:
http://moozone.com/moozone-15.apkAre you a DropBox user?
Being one myself, I always wanted to be able to stream my mp3 files from the web. That’s something I would need when I’m at work (behind a firewall) or at my friend’s house.
Moozone offers a good solution for that: Simply plugin your DropBox account. All your mp3 files will be processed and you’ll be able to stream them in any browser, view mp3 tags, build playlists and much more.
Tip: DropBox gives you 2GB for free, so does Moozone. Simply register on both, plugin your DropBox into Moozone and you will have 2+2=4GB for free.
Buy music get free storage
Do you know that if you buy a track or an album on Moozone you get free storage, enough to keep that track (or album) on our service forever?
That means that you can download your music as many times as you want, from different locations. Or, if you wish, simply stream it. It is very convenient, just think about it. Here are a few cases when it comes handy:
-
Problem: You bought an album. The next day, you’re at work wishing you could play it. For some reason the album is not on your portable device.
Solution: Log into Moozone and simply stream it. -
Problem: You bought an album and put it on your portable device. Your device got stolen. But you still want your music back.
Solution: Log into Moozone and download all the music you have purchased before.
Another thing that is worth mentioning is that even though you get free storage on Moozone you still pay the same price as you would on any other service (itunes, amazon etc).
Lend Your Music To Your Followers
After you upload your mp3 files to the Moozone server, you create your own personal network by inviting your friends. Anyone from your network will be able to play (stream) a song from your library. However only one person can play a certain song at a time. It is like borrowing — while one is playing a track, others cannot access it.
How can this be useful?
Well, there are many uses that come to mind. Suppose there is a music expert writing about and evaluating new releases. He could create a network of his followers on Moozone and upload the tracks and releases he is writing about. His followers will borrow songs from his pool and stream them. Granted that you might have to wait to play the latest and most popular tracks, due to the concept of borrowing, but it could be an addition incentive to purchase these tracks.
That is good for everyone: bloggers, musicians and their fans.
